Problem solved. I did a factory reset on the router (and manual reconfiguration) and I can now successfully print and ping devices on both WiFi networks. Looking at the configuration settings I backed up prior to the reset, it looks like wireless isolation was turned on for the 2.4 GHz WiFi network. It was set to "1" in the .cfg file.
